A Call to Prayer by Sr Pastor TJ Anderson

Out of Numbers 16:47 Aaron ran out and stood between the living and the dead, he stood between the plague and where the people were.

Through prayer, we too, can take a stand in Jesus Name, between fear and faith, between hope and hopelessness, between life and death in our world and this plague through prayer.

God’s is calling His people to prayer as it says in 2 Chronicles 7:14:

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven, I will forgive their sin, and I heal their land.

Since we are unable to gather publicly in prayer, we are inviting you to pray where ever you are each day at noon.

  • Call out to God on behalf of our country, this land, and this world and repent
  • Stand against the fear that has gripped every level of our society
  • For a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit and that revival would break out globally
  • To mobilize North Heights and the church in the Twin Cities and worldwide to be strong as we reach out to our neighbor that many would come to faith in Jesus during this time

Please pray with us:

God, we thank You that You are God and that You’ve got this. Thank You that we can turn to You and You can be the One that will heal our land. Lord, forgive us for the sins of our country. Forgive us for the unwillingness sometimes to turn back to You. Lord, soften our hearts. Turn the hearts of the people of this country and around the world to You. And Lord, we pray now, in Jesus Name, against the fear that is gripping people. Fill us with Your hope knowing that You have this and are going to use it. Lord God we pray for those who don’t know You, that You would send your Spirit out, that faith would rise up in them, and You would draw them to You Jesus as we hold You up and lift You up as our Lord and Savior of all. Move powerfully in Your Name Jesus we pray. Amen

If you have a specific prayer request, email   and we will pray for you.

UPDATE FROM SENIOR PASTOR TJ ANDERSON

Joshua 1:9 says, have I not commanded you, be bold, be strong, do not be afraid, do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God goes with you wherever you go!

The North Heights leadership team met Monday morning to pray and discuss the recent impacts of the Coronavirus. For your safety, we have decided to honor state and national government recommendations and close our Roseville and Arden Hills facilities through Sunday, March 22. This means there will be no classes, events or public worship services. We’ve also adjusted schedules for our Christian Academy and Pre School.

Instead, please join us online this Wednesday for Lent Services at 11:30am and 6:30pm and this Sunday for Worship at 9am, 10am, and 10:45am by visiting NorthHeights.Church/LiveStream. Also visit the North Heights Facebook page for the 10AM Sunday Worship service.

This is a fluid situation. We will continue to provide updates and do our best to keep you informed on all things North Heights.

When all is said and done, it will be impossible to know if we overreacted or did too much, but it will be obvious if we under reacted and did too little.

We are taking things a week at a time. For us, the first thing to do is take time to pray. We need to be on our knees seeking God first. If you have a specific prayer need, please email your request to  .

If you support North Heights during public worship on Sunday mornings, there are three ways that you can continue to financially support your church while we hold online services this weekend:

  1. Text your gift to 612-255-4541
  2. Give online by visiting northheights.church/give
  3. Mail a check to: North Heights, 1700 West Highway 96, Arden Hills, MN 55112

I am so grateful for your generosity and commitment to North Heights. God has a plan for us and will continue to use North Heights to make a difference.

Our prayer for you during this time of uncertainty is that you will experience the peace and certainty of Jesus.
